Jill Brotman recognizes a home as more than just a dwelling; it's a sanctuary, a canvas where life stories unfold. She takes great pride in guiding her clients as they embark on the exciting journey of writing their next chapter.
Jill's journey into real estate began after studying communications at Arizona State University. Working on a market research team for a national developer in Phoenix, she found her passion, fueled by a childhood spent watching her father design homes.
Drawing from personal experiences in buying and selling homes, Jill aspires to be the real estate professional she wished she'd had when she was buying her first home– a trusted partner who listens, a proactive problem solver, and a knowledgeable resource empowering clients throughout their real estate journey.
Change is something Jill embraces. As a proud homeowner, she's designed, built, renovated, and landscaped properties. A natural connector with an extensive network, Jill’s clients value the introduction to industry professionals for any post-close home projects or guidance along the way.
In November 2020, in the midst of COVID, Jill and her then 90-year-old mother made the heartfelt move from Chicago to the Bay Area to be closer to family and sunshine. A licensed NAR member in Illinois for years, Jill seamlessly added her California license soon after relocating. She quickly immersed herself in the San Francisco market, touring broker open houses and building local knowledge while continuing to serve her Illinois clients with the same trusted dedication—often flying back for transactions. Jill spent 25 years in Long Grove, IL, raising her three children and forming strong community ties that remain central to her dual-market approach. Her deep relationships in Chicago and the North Shore, combined with her partnership with @properties Christie's, keep her closely connected to the Illinois market. Now living in Walnut Creek’s Rudgear Estates, Jill and her family have embraced East Bay life—enjoying local parks, nature trails, excellent schools, great restaurants, and the neighborhood pool. Her granddaughters especially love their new backyard—just one of many joys in this new chapter.
Beyond real estate, Jill treasures moments with her family, especially her adult children and two granddaughters. Life lessons from her 94-year-old mother enrich these gatherings. When not caring for family or clients, Jill enjoys pilates, cycling, and exploring California with her mini Goldendoodle, Riley. With dual licenses in CA and IL, Jill has a vast network of top-tier NAR members in the US and abroad.
